PAINTING PROCESS

Fresh air is taken in by the fresh air absorption duct while the dampers of the fresh air unit are closed. The absorbed fresh air enters the burner boiler through the EU-4 pre-filters present in the paint booth. It is directed through the heat exchanger and the fresh air fan into the plenum and heats up.

DRYING PROCESS

The heated air fills the plenum and through compressed air it reaches the existing EU-5 ceiling filters and thus enters the spray booth from above. The air is mixed with the excess paint, which is absorbed by the floor, using exhaust fans, and thus flows through the existing EU 3 paint stop filters. Finally, the filtered air re-enters the exhaust system and is expelled through the exhaust pipe.

We also offer multifunctional painting workstations (MFA), which offer the possibility of carrying out several work steps at one workstation. MFA’s of the STORM brand represent a cost-effective alternative to a conventional paint booth, especially for the area of ​​Smart Repair or the subsequent painting of installed body parts.
